Cold conditions likely to ease in UP from today
LUCKNOW, Nov. 17 -- Due to change in the direction of winds, fall in temperature is likely to stop from Monday (November 17). Also, there is a possibility of relief from cold wave-like conditions experienced in several districts on Saturday night.
Some places may see light fog/mist in the morning, a weatherman said.
Cold wave conditions prevailed on Saturday night in Etawah, Bareilly, Kanpur, Barabanki and Amethi.
Reportedly, Kanpur city recorded the lowest temperature at 7.8 degrees Celsius which was 5.6 degrees below normal.
Minimum temperature at Etawah was recorded at 8.4 degrees Celsius, which was 5.1 degrees Celsius below the normal. Barabanki 8.5, Meerut 8.8 and Fursatganj 9. 5 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, day and night temperature in the state capital was recorded at 28.4 and 11.2 degree Celsius which is 2.6 degrees below normal.
Forecast for Monday is mist during morning hours and clear sky later.
The maximum and minimum temperature will be around 29 and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.
