Meerut, Aug. 7 -- Attacking the Opposition, chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said those who once rose to power through the politics of appeasement now find themselves directionless. He made the remark in Moradabad where he inaugurated an Atal Residential School built at a cost of Rs.79 crore. "Such people could neither stand with society nor with future generations," he said, adding that BJP's schemes are based on "santushti" (satisfaction), not "tushtikaran" (appeasement), and aim to reach every citizen without any discrimination. The chief minister said for those who treated power as nothing more than a personal shop, the concept of inclusive development now seems unsettling. He blamed previous governments for turning the education system into a hub of cheating, lawlessness and caste-based politics. In contrast, he maintained that the current government has ensured fair examinations and introduced an honest system, which has helped Uttar Pradesh achieve significant national rankings in education.htc...
