PRAYAGRAJ, Jan. 8 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to reach Prayagraj on Saturday to review preparations for the upcoming bathing festivals. The CM is scheduled to arrive in the Sangam city around 11 am and will remain here for nearly five hours, during which he will participate in several official and religious programmes. Although preparations for his visit have been intensified, formal protocol was still awaited, officials said. After arriving in Prayagraj, the CM will first attend a formal event and then proceed to the Magh Mela area. He will take a holy dip and perform rituals in the Sangam waters, following which he will visit the Bade Hanuman Temple for darshan. Later, he will reach the camp of Jagadguru Santosh Das 'Satua Baba' in the Mela area, where he will participate in a programme and share a meal with saints. Around 1.30 pm, Adityanath is expected at the Prayagraj Mela Authority office, where he will hold a review meeting for about an hour regarding preparations for Makar Sankranti (January 15) and Mauni Amavasya (January 18) bathing festivals....
