CM to open Ramayan-themed wax museum in Ayodhya
Lucknow, Oct. 16 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate a Ramayan-themed wax museum in Ayodhya during this year's Deepotsav celebrations.
Claimed to be the world's first of its kind, the 9,850 sq ft museum has been built at a cost of Rs6 crore.
Following the inauguration of the Ram Mandir by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22, 2024, the museum will become another major attraction for devotees.
The fully air-conditioned facility houses 50 life-size wax statues depicting key episodes from the Ramayana and will allow entry to 100 visitors at a time, with a fee of Rs.100.
Designed in the South Indian architectural style, the two-storey museum showcases scenes from Ram Lalla's childhood to Sita's swayamvar on the ground floor, and the exile, Lanka Dahan, and Ram-Ravana war on the first floor. With realistic detailing, thematic lighting, and the chants of Ram Tarak Mantra and bhajans filling the air, the museum promises a divine experience.
A statue of Lord Ganesha welcomes visitors at the entrance, while a selfie point near Ram Lalla's statue offers a memorable keepsake.-...
