Lucknow, Nov. 19 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday reviewed preparations for the flag-hoisting ceremony in Ram Mandir, Ayodhya on November 25. Adityanath reached Ayodhya on a day-long visit to oversee preparations for the ceremony in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest. Nripendra Misra, the chairman of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee, and Champat Rai, the general secretary of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust, apprised the CM about the current status of the construction work and the upcoming phases. Adityanath held a meeting with the Trust officials and district officials regarding the proposed programme. He inquired in detail about the arrangements for guests attending the event, including accommodation, food, easy transportation to the temple, and seating arrangements. Adityanath issued necessary instructions to officials in this regard. During the meeting, the CM enquired about security arrangements for the programme and provided necessary guidance. Before the meeting, the CM conducted a site inspection of the venues within the temple and provided necessary instructions.He also inspected the helipad site being constructed at Saket College and the preparations being made at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.After this, the CM departed for Lucknow from the airport.
