CM orders swift, quality redressal of public grievances in Varanasi
VARANASI, Aug. 31 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday directed officials to ensure the timely and quality resolution of public grievances, prioritising responsiveness and efficiency.
The directive came during a Jan Sunwai (public hearing) held at the Circuit House auditorium in Kashi, on the second day of his visit to the city.
During the hearing, the CM received several applications from members of the public. He handed these over to divisional commissioner S Rajalingam and district magistrate Satyendra Kumar-both present at the event-and instructed them to ensure prompt and quality redressal of the issues raised.
A large number of complainants personally presented their problems to the CM. He engaged directly with many individuals, taking detailed information about their concerns.
During the Janta Darshan, the CM also spoke briefly with the wife of deceased Sunbeam School teacher Praveen Jha, assuring her of strict action against the culprits.
Many attendees expressed satisfaction after conveying their grievances to the CM directly and said they were hopeful their issues would be resolved promptly.
Present during the public hearing were labour and employment minister Anil Rajbhar, minister of state for stamps (independent charge) Ravindra Jaiswal, minister of state for AYUSH (independent charge) Dr Dayashankar Mishra 'Dayalu', district panchayat president Poonam Maurya, Mayor Ashok Tiwari, legislative council member Hansraj Vishwakarma, Rai Dharmendra Singh, former minister and MLA Dr Neelkanth Tiwari, Dr Awadhesh Singh, Dr Sunil Patel, Tribhuvan Ram, commissioner S Rajalingam, police commissioner Mohit Agarwal, district magistrate Satyendra Kumar, and other prominent officials....
