CM orders relief for specially abled woman, lauds her artwork
Lucknow, Nov. 27 -- Providing succour to a 20-year-old woman, unable to speak or hear, CM Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday arranged her admission to a special college in Kanpur, provided her with a mobile phone and tablet for education and skill development, and assured medical treatment for her hearing condition.
He also extended support for housing for the family.
The intervention came after Khushi Gupta, who travelled from Kanpur to Lucknow with a wish to personally gift her handmade drawing to Yogi, was found crying outside Lok Bhavan.
He ordered that the young woman and her family be brought to his residence without delay.
At the CM's residence, Adityanath examined Khushi's artwork, including a portrait of Prime Minister Narenda Modi, and met her parents with warmth, the press release added.
For Khushi's parents, the moment was one of relief and dignity as the chief minister ensured Khushi's medical treatment, education, and the family's housing needs were addressed....
