CM extends Navratri greetings
LUCKNOW, Sept. 22 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has extended greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious occasson of Sharadiya Navratri.
In a message on Sunday, the chief minister said that the worship of Goddess Durga has been of great importance in the Sanatan Dharma tradition of India since ancient times.
"Goddess Durga has infinite forms, but in her nine primary forms, known as Navdurga, the Adi Shakti showers her compassion on the animate and inanimate world. The Navratri celebrations twice a year effectively represent India's sentiments towards the mother power.
