GORAKHPUR, July 31 -- Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, during a Janata Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple on Wednesday, assured citizens that those in need would be provided housing under government welfare schemes. He also pledged financial assistance to individuals suffering from serious illnesses and struggling to afford medical treatment. On the second day of his visit to Gorakhpur, CM Yogi met with over 200 citizens, patiently listening to their problems and grievances. He directed officials to ensure that all eligible and deserving individuals receive the benefits of welfare schemes, emphasizing that every complaint must be addressed with urgency, empathy and fairness. The chief minister reiterated the government's commitment to providing a pucca house to every person in need. In response to complaints about land encroachments, he issued strict instructions to the police to take firm action against those illegally occupying others' property. He clearly stated that unlawful possession-especially by influential individuals-would not be tolerated and must be dealt with under a zero-tolerance policy.More than a dozen people sought financial aid for medical treatment. CM Yogi assured them that lack of funds would not prevent anyone from receiving necessary care. He instructed officials to promptly prepare cost estimates for the required treatments and confirmed that the government would release the funds without delay.
