CM Adityanath to honour 400 sanitation workers in Varanasi
VARANASI, Oct. 6 -- Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath will honour 400 sanitation workers and distribute sanitation kits to them in Varanasi on Monday, in recognition of their service and contribution to the success of the cleanliness campaign.
CM Adityanath is scheduled to arrive in Kashi on Monday for a two-day visit. During his stay, he will participate in programmes related to cleanliness, development and public service, and will also review law and order and ongoing development projects.
As part of his visit, the chief minister will felicitate sanitation workers for their efforts in making the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a success. He is expected to distribute sanitation kits to around 400 workers at the event.
The chief minister will also attend the second day session of a three-day conference, which began on Sunday, at the International Rice Research Institute's South Asia Regional Centre (ISARC) in Chandpur.
In addition, he will review law and order and development work, and offer prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Kaal Bhairav Temple.
CM Yogi will also participate in a ceremony organised by the Annapurna Temple Trust at the Annapurna Rishikul Brahmacharya Ashram in Shivpur. There, he will distribute sewing and embroidery machines to around 150 girls from the ashram, encouraging them towards self-reliance.
The chief minister Adityanath will then review law and order and development work at the Circuit House and is scheduled to stay overnight in Kashi....
