LUCKNOW, Feb. 20 -- Emphasising transparency and quality in ongoing civic and infrastructure projects in the state capital, chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed the municipal corporation in Lucknow to ensure strict monitoring and better coordination among departments. The directions came during a meeting with Lucknow mayor Sushma Kharkwal at the Chief Minister's official residence at 5, Kalidas Marg. Kharkwal briefed the CM on the progress of various development works being undertaken by Lucknow Municipal Corporation, stated an LMC press release. She informed him about measures taken to strengthen city's sanitation system, ongoing road construction and repair works, improvement of drainage networks, and expansion of green belts. She also shared updates on projects being implemented under smart city initiatives. She stated that LMC has prioritised public-centric works and is working to complete key projects within set timelines.
