Lucknow, Dec. 8 -- The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)-2026 was held smoothly at 17 centres in 11 districts of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. Out of the 14,578 candidates who took the exam across the state, 5,212 candidates took it in Lucknow, with an attendance rate of 97%. The examination was organised by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) with the support of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University in Lucknow. This year, the CLAT-2026 examination was conducted in 173 test centres across the country, accommodating a total of 92,344 candidates. Of these, 75,008 candidates appeared for the undergraduate (UG) programme, and 17,336 candidates appeared for the postgraduate (PG) programme.
