LUCKNOW, June 9 -- Three men were arrested on Saturday after a minor scuffle among children over water at a brick kiln in Itaunja on Friday escalated into a violent confrontation that claimed the life of a 40-year-old woman, Sunita Devi, police said. The incident occurred at a brick kiln in Itaunja, where Sunita and her husband Khelawan Majhi, both migrant labourers from Gaya district in Bihar, had been working and residing with their family, according to a statement by police. The conflict began when children from Sunita's family clashed with those of other labourers while fetching water at a tap. What started as an argument quickly turned violent with the involvement of elders from both sides. In the meantime, three men allegedly attacked Sunita Devi, hitting her on the chest and stomach with bricks, the statement said. "She was rushed to Ram Sagar Mishra Joint Hospital in a critical condition, where she succumbed to injuries on Saturday afternoon around," Itaunja SHO Markandey Yadav said. "After a complaint was filed by Sunita's husband Khelawan Majhi, the Itaunja police registered an FIR under Section 105 of the BNS," the SHO added. "The accused were arrested near the Aramba Canal culvert on Saturday. They were identified as Rajkumar (35), Ramkishore (42), and Rambharose (25) -- all residents of Sitapur," the police statement said....
