Lucknow, Oct. 7 -- Sahara India Commercial Corporation officials have raised serious concerns over the lack of inventory management by Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC). With the gates sealed, the officials alleged that no record has been made of high-value assets left inside Sahara Shahar. These include over 30 luxury cars, high-end electronics like LEDs, LCDs, furniture, bathroom fittings, home theatres, golf carts, and more. There are lights at the helipads, equipment for fire extinguishing, medical equipment etc. "These are not just buildings; the premises hold crores worth of property. Who is responsible if things go missing?" a Sahara official asked. "The authorities have sealed the premises but have not made any formal inventory. We demand immediate protection of these assets," the official said. Everywhere, if possession is taken by authorities they maintain an inventory , what will happen if court orders unsealing of property and things are not found in place, the official further said. LMC's response When contacted, LMC officials stated that the action was carried out based on legal grounds and that "due process is being followed." However, they have not confirmed whether an official inventory of the contents inside Sahara Shahar was made before sealing the premises. A highly placed official said, " If the gates are sealed, nothing can be transported out of the premises."...
