LUCKNOW, Dec. 22 -- A chorus of voices rose in unison as Euphoria's Maaeri echoed across Janeshwar Mishra Park, bringing Repertwahr Festival Season 13 to an emotional close on Sunday night. The finale turned into a homecoming of sorts for the band's frontman Palash Sen, who was warmly embraced by the Lucknow audience. "I was born in Lucknow and grew up in Delhi. Twenty-seven years ago, a group of doctors came together to form this band, and here we are," Sen told the cheering crowd. Euphoria's headline performance transformed the MAHOL Music Arena into a massive sing-along, with hits like Dhoom Pichak Dhoom and Mehfuz evoking nostalgia across generations. Earlier, singer-songwriter Ankur Tewari set a mellow tone with his reflective folk-pop numbers, including Sabse Peeche Hum Khade, Jeene Mein Aaye Maza and Dil Beparvah. At the RANG Theatre stage, Ambaa (A), directed by Atul Kumar and inspired by Aristophanes' Lysistrata, offered sharp political satire on women's resistance to war. Laughter ruled the MAHOL Comedy Arena as Gurleen Pannu closed the stand-up segment. As dusk deepened, the festival grounds glowed with activity at the TAAL Silent Disco, where DJ Dr. Sangria's Afro-infused melodic techno kept dancers moving beneath the trees. The Food Arena, Artisanal Bazaar and BACHPAN kids' zone continued to draw families with Awadhi flavours, handcrafted wares and interactive workshops. With music, theatre, comedy and community celebration, Repertwahr Season 13 ended on a high, reaffirming Lucknow's growing cultural vibrancy....
