Chinese citizen arrested for illegal entry into India
Bahraich, Nov. 25 -- A Chinese national was arrested on Monday for illegally entering Indian territory through the India-Nepal border at Rupaidiha. The arrest was made during a routine border check conducted jointly by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), local police, and the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).
According to SSB officials, personnel deployed at Rupaidiha were checking individuals crossing the border under the supervision of SSB 42nd battalion Commandant Ganga Singh Udavat when a Chinese citizen was intercepted. The man, identified as Liu Kujing, 48, a resident of Hunan Province, China, entered India without a valid visa.
