Varanasi, April 25 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Sonbhadra police has filed a 4,164-page charge sheet in a codeine cough syrup smuggling case in a court in Sonbhadra. The SIT has named 13 accused in the case, including alleged mastermind Shubham Jaiswal and 12 others linked to the network. Circle officer Randheer Mishra confirmed the development. "The case, registered at Robertsganj Kotwali police station, was investigated by the SIT. The charge sheet was prepared after an extensive probe involving electronic evidence, banking transactions, call records, and the transportation network used by the gang," he said....
