Dehradun, Dec. 20 -- The central government has released over Rs.94.23 crore as 15th finance commission grants for Rural Local Bodies (RLBs) and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) in Uttarakhand during the financial year 2025-26, officials said on Friday. According to an official statement, the total release amounts to Rs.94.236 crore and includes the second instalment of untied grants for the financial year 2024-25. An amount of Rs.9,410.03 lakh has been released to all eligible local bodies in the state, covering 13 district panchayats, 95 block panchayats and 7,784 gram panchayats. In addition, the Centre has also released Rs.13.60 lakh towards the withheld portion of the first instalment of untied grants for 2024-25 to 15 gram panchayats that were subsequently found eligible, officials added.htc...
