Dehradun, Nov. 25 -- The Union Ministry of Rural Development has released Rs.130.96 crore to Uttarakhand for clearing outstanding liabilities under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana-I (PMGSY-I), officials said on Monday. The funds will be used to make pending payments for works completed in the state up to March 31, 2025. According to the ministry's order, the approval for the release of funds will remain valid only until December 31, 2025, and no expenditure will be allowed beyond that date. The amount sanctioned covers only those works fully completed by March 31, 2025, or portions of projects completed by then.
