Lucknow, July 13 -- The Central Sanskrit University in Lucknow is set to introduce a new course that combines Architecture and Vaastu Shastra. This unique course will include both technical knowledge of building design and traditional Indian principles of Vaastu. According to professor Sarv Narayan Jha, director of the university, the course will train students to design homes and buildings while following the rules of Vaastu. He explained that Vaastu Dosh - or faults in a building's design - can lead to problems like stress, illness, and family disputes. By learning about these issues, future architects can help people live more peacefully. The course aims to blend modern science with ancient culture. It will include 50% subjects related to B.Arch and 50% related to Vaastu Shastra. There will be 60 seats available in the first session. Like the regular B.Arch course, students will need to take a national-level entrance exam. The university is in the process of getting approval from the Council of Architecture. If all goes well, the course will begin from the next academic session....
