Car crash kills edu-tech firm manager, three injured
Lucknow, Jan. 12 -- A late-night car accident in Gomti Nagar claimed one life while leaving three others seriously injured, police said on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Deepak Bisht, a manager with an education technology company based in Gomti Nagar.
According to police, the accident occurred near Lohia Chowraha when Bisht was returning after dropping a friend at the Alambagh bus terminal on Saturday night. The car, which at the time of the accident had four occupants, reportedly went out of control and rammed into a divider, overturning due to the impact. The windshield shattered and both airbags deployed.
"All four occupants of the car were injured in the crash. Bisht was rushed to the emergency ward of Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment," said police. The other occupants Prateek Bind, Shivam Chaurasia and Anurag sustained serious injuries and are undergoing treatment at the same hospital, added police.htc...
