Lucknow, Jan. 6 -- A 24-member delegation from the Canadian Hindu Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) visited the Invest UP office on Monday and discussed investment opportunities in hospitality, Global Capability Centres (GCC), IT & ITeS, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, textiles and apparels. Naresh Kumar Chavda, founder president of the organisation, led the delegation. During the interaction, Invest UP assured the Canadian delegation full support from the state government and the Invest UP team, reiterating the state's investor-friendly ecosystem and proactive facilitation framework. Invest UP officials addressed queries raised by the delegation related to GCCs, FDI policy, investment processes and tourism opportunities in the state. They emphasised that Uttar Pradesh has separate policies tailored for FDI and Fortune 500 companies, aimed at attracting global investors with competitive and transparent frameworks.
