NOIDA, Feb. 11 -- The Uttar Pradesh government should bring a one-time settlement (OTS) scheme to settle pending financial dues of builders to revive stuck housing projects in Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway areas, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Association (Credai) said.

The builder's group has also written to the state's infrastructure and industrial department seeking an OTS scheme to bring out a "practical" solution to the longstanding stalemate over financial dues.

The Noida, Greater Noida authority and Yamuna Expressway authorities have failed to recover a total of over Rs.35,000 crore financial dues from over 300 housing projects, the authorities' officials said.
