Builder arrested over drowning of Noida techie
Noida, Jan. 21 -- Police arrested a builder on Tuesday days after 27-year-old software engineer Yuvraj Mehta died after his car plunged into a water-filled pit of a vacant under-construction plot in Noida's Sector 150, even as a three-member special investigation team (SIT) formed to probe the circumstances that led to the death met the victim's father and also visited the site of the accident. MZ Wiztown Planner Pvt Ltd promoter Abhay Kumar was arrested from the Sector 150 area, police said. Rajeev Narayan Mishra, additional commissioner of police (law and order), Gautam Budh Nagar, confirmed the arrest of Kumar, a resident of Commonwealth Games village in Delhi.
