Bridge to PM Mitra Park 60% complete: Officials
Lucknow, July 14 -- A key infrastructure project that aims to bolster connectivity to Uttar Pradesh's ambitious PM MITRA Textile Park is making swift progress.
The Raitha Bridge, being constructed on the Gomti near the Raitha underpass on Outer Ring Road, is now more than 60% complete, officials said, adding they were hopeful that the project could be completed by January against the deadline of December next year.
The bridge is expected to significantly ease industrial transport and enhance logistical access to the PM MITRA Park, .
According to an official of UP State Bridge Corporation, the 210-metre-long bridge, which is being built at an estimated cost Rs.409.39 crore, is a crucial link on the 14.28 km four-lane bridge that will connect the Outer Ring Road to the upcoming mega textile park. The Uttar Pradesh Setu Nigam is executing the construction, which began in November 2024 following government approval in March.
