Braj Raj Utsav: Hema Malini's 'Yashoda Krishna' steals the show
AGRA, Nov. 6 -- The Braj Raj Utsav, organised by the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad (UPBTVP) since October 26, concluded on Wednesday.
A dance-drama titled 'Yashoda Krishna', presented by actor and Mathura MP Hema Malini, stole the show on Tuesday night.
The event, held at the Railway Ground near Dhauli Pyau in Mathura, featured an exhibition on the theme 'Viksit Bharat - Viksit Uttar Pradesh' and promoted the use of 'swadeshi' products, UPBTVP officials said.
The fair ran daily from 11 am to 10 pm, with departmental and school presentations between 12 noon and 2 pm, performances by local artistes from 3 pm to 7 pm, and star attractions from 7 pm to 10 pm.
On Tuesday night, Hema Malini presented 'Yashoda Krishna' in front of a full house. Among those present were Justice (retd) Ashok Kumar, chairman of the Supreme Court-appointed High-Powered Committee; UPBTVP vice-president Shailja Kant Mishra; ADG (Agra Zone) Anupam Kulshrestha; and Agra divisional commissioner Shailendra Kumar Singh....
