Lucknow, March 11 -- Two people drowned in separate incidents while bathing in water bodies in Lucknow on Tuesday. A 12-year-old boy drowned in a drain in Malihabad, police said adding the incident took place around 3 pm in the Baita drain under Malihabad police station limits. In another incident, a youth drowned while bathing in the Sitakund pond located in the Budheshwar area. The UP Special Task Force (STF) on Tuesday arrested a man after nearly 13 years in a 2013 murder case in Hardoi district, officials said. The accused, Vipin Kumar Singh, a resident of Kheda Azmat Khan village in Hardoi, was arrested near Ojhi railway station in the Shahabad area. According to STF officials, Singh was wanted in a case registered under sections 302 (murder) and 504 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC at Shahabad police station. A Rs.50,000 reward had been announced for his arrest. One person died and two others were injured when a swarm of bees attacked devotees in a temple complex, during a weekly fair in the Jalalpur Kotwali area of Ambedkar Nagar on Tuesday, officials said.
