LUCKNOW, Aug. 22 -- A rural postal service employee (Gramin Dak Sevak) was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the Mahanagar Post Office in Lucknow on Thursday. The body was discovered hanging from a noose in a room on the building's terrace, police said. "Family members have been informed and other necessary legal actions are being taken," said Akhilesh Mishra, SHO, Mahanagar. The deceased, a native of Haryana, had been posted in Lucknow only a few months ago and was living alone. He also worked as a night guard for the premises.
