LUCKNOW, Dec. 2 -- A youth pursuing BSc was found hanging in his rented room in Sarojini Nagar area here on Monday, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances of the incident. "The case came to light when his brother, who had gone to the bathroom, returned to find the room locked from inside," said police in a press statement. According to locals, despite several calls, when there was no response, neighbours were alerted and police informed. Officers broke open the door and discovered the youth's body hanging from the ceiling fan with a bedsheet. "The body has been sent for postmortem, and a probe is underway," added police. The youth lived with his younger brother in a rented house in Shanti Nagar. He was preparing for his BSc first-year exams privately and also took cricket training at an academy in Para while his younger brother is a Class 10 student.
