Body of a boy found near home
Prayagraj, Dec. 2 -- The body of a 6-year-old boy was found near his house in Chaubepur village under Antu police station area of Pratapgarh on Monday.
He had gone missing on Sunday evening from his house. Injury marks were found on the body. Based on the grandfather's complaint, the police registered a murder case against unknown people and sent the body for a post-mortem examination.
Babulal Verma, resident of the village, went to attend the wedding procession at around 8 pm on Sunday night with his two sons, Aryan (10) and Yash (7).
They all returned but Yash again went back to the wedding procession. When Yash did not return by 10 pm, his father searched for him but failed to find him.
On Monday morning, the boy's body with injury marks was found dumped in a mustard field near his house. Villagers took him to the community health centre where doctors declared him dead. Upon receiving information, superintendent of police Deepak Bhukar along with senior officials arrived at the spot of incident and carried out preliminary investigations. The deceased's grandfather, Santarat Verma, has filed a murder case against unknown persons at Antu police station....
