Bodies of Mathura couple found hanging, police suspect suicide
AGRA, July 10 -- A couple married for eight years were found dead in their home in Mirzapur Thakran village, under the Farah police station in Mathura, on Wednesday morning. According to police, the husband and wife had an argument on Tuesday night. The next morning, the bodies of the couple were found hanging in their house. Police believe it to be a case of suicide. Circle officer Shweta Verma of the Refinery police station said that police received information early in the morning and immediately reached the spot. "We found the 31-year-old husband and his 28-year-old wife hanging. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination as per legal procedure," she said. The couple had two children-a seven-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter.She added, "It is believed that the couple had an argument over a personal matter on Tuesday night. The next morning, both were found dead. The police investigation is ongoing." The husband was employed outside the village and had returned home on Tuesday. Family members, who arrived at the scene after being informed, were unable to give a clear reason behind the couple's tragic decision. Police are continuing their inquiry and speaking to relatives and neighbours to gather more details....
