India, June 11 -- Actor Blake Lively is celebrating a major legal victory after a judge dismissed actor-director Justin Baldoni's $400 million lawsuit against her, her actor-husband Ryan Reynolds, and The New York Times. She said she has felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, adding that she will continue standing up for women's rights. Taking to IG Stories, Blake wrote, "Last week, I stood proudly alongside 19 organisations united in defending women's rights to speak up for their safety. Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us. While the suit against me was defeated, so many don't have the resources to fight back." The 37-year-old added, "I'm more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman's right to have a voice in protecting themselves, including their safety, their integrity, their dignity and their story." In the Story, she also shared a list of non-profits and legal resources that help at-risk individuals. She ended by saying, "With love and gratitude for the many who stood by me, many of whom I know. Many of you I don't. But I will never stop appreciating or advocating for you." The conflict between Blake and Justin began in 2024 after the release of their film This Ends with Us. Blake filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department, alleging sexual harassment and workplace hostility. She also claimed that this led to a smear campaign against her. The New York Times published a detailed report on her allegations. In response, Justin sued Blake for $400 million for defamation and extortion and also filed a $250 million lawsuit against the newspaper, claiming the article was 'rife with inaccuracies.' htc...
