Agra, March 16 -- BJP MP from Aligarh, Satish Gautam, known for making controversial remarks, on Sunday claimed that Muslims benefit the most from government welfare schemes. Reacting to a demand reportedly made by an AIMIM district leader to allow Eid namaz at the Numaish ground in Aligarh and to shower flower petals on namazis, Gautam said the government already provides Muslims with houses, ration and gas cylinders. "If anyone is benefiting the most from government schemes, it is the Muslims," he said.
