BJP MLA apprises Chief Minister of progress of projects
Lucknow, May 14 -- BJP MLA Rajeshwar Singh on Tuesday met chief minister Yogi Adityanath and apprised him about the progress of development projects underway in his constituency Sarojininagar (Lucknow).
After the meeting, Singh in a post on X wrote, "Your vision is rooted in austerity, your speech carries intensity, and your decisions embody supreme national interest. Under your gracious and farsighted leadership, the state's largest EV Plant-Ashok Leyland EV Bus Manufacturing Unit-is being established in Sarojininagar."
"Furthermore, production of the world's fastest supersonic cruise missile, 'BrahMos', has commenced in the constituency. On behalf of the Sarojininagar family, heartfelt gratitude to you, Hon'ble Chief Minister!," Singh further wrote.
During the meeting, the BJP MLA drew the CM's attention to a major public concern in Lucknow-rainwater drainage and waterlogging. He underlined the urgent need for construction of several critical drains, including Sai Data Road (Ahimamau), Tapovan Nagar and Shanti Nagar (near airport), DRDO to Kanpur Road in Gindun Kheda and major drains located in Amausi and Alinagar Sunhara.
Singh requested that instructions be issued to the municipal corporation and other concerned departments to ensure proper cleaning, widening and unobstructed flow in all major drains across Lucknow before the monsoon season, especially those that pose a recurring risk of waterlogging.
Singh proposed for the construction of key roads in Sarojininagar. Additionally, keeping in view the holistic development of rural youth, he urged for the construction of a sports stadium in Gahru village. The CM assured the BJP MLA to look into his proposals....
