LUCKNOW, Aug. 22 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday issued show-cause notices to three party leaders of Kanpur, including former MP Anil Shukla 'Warsi', who is the husband of state minister Pratibha Shukla, on charges of indiscipline. Party's state general secretary Govind Narain Shukla issued the notices to BJP's former Kanpur district chiefs Manoj Shukla and Rajesh Tiwari besides Anil Shukla 'Warsi' and sought explanation from them within a week. These notices were issued after directives from the state party president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary. The party has warned action against them if a satisfactory reply is not received in the next seven days. Anil Shukla and his wife Pratibha Shukla along with party workers had staged a sit-in at the Kanpur Dehat Kotwali on July 24 for six hours accusing cops of harassing party workers.
