Dharamshala, Dec. 5 -- With the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh nearing the completion of its three-year tenure, the state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday targeted the government for "misrule" during a protest held in Dharamshala. The protest rally, held at Zorawar Stadium amid the ongoing winter session of the Himachal Assembly, was attended by thousands of BJP supporters and workers. LoP Jai Ram Thakur, Hamirpur BJP MP Anurag Thakur, state BJP president Rajeev Bindal, BJP MLA and former Speaker Vipin Singh Parmar, and other party leaders were present at the rally. Jai Ram Thakur, while addressing the rally alleged that in its three-year tenure, this government does not have a single scheme to mention. "Forget the public, even Congress MLAs cannot recall the names of any schemes. Since they haven't implemented a single scheme, how can they name one? This failed government has discontinued dozens of schemes launched by our government." He said that whenever they visit any part of the state, they find a sense of frustration and disappointment among the people.
