VARANASI, Aug. 4 -- Banaras Hindu University (BHU) vice-chancellor Prof Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi has urged members of the varsity fraternity to work in ways that further enhance the institution's positive image among its stakeholders. He made the remarks during an interaction with key officials of the Central Registry. Prof Chaturvedi also stressed the need to fast-track key administrative processes, establish clear timelines, and make efficiency a norm rather than an exception. He encouraged the officials to remain committed to making timely and correct decisions. Prof Chaturvedi emphasised that while all staff go the extra mile in fulfilling their responsibilities, bureaucratic delays and inefficiencies must not be allowed to hinder the institution's performance. The meeting, held in the Committee Room of the Central Registry, was attended by joint registrars, deputy registrars, assistant registrars, the controller of examinations and additional controllers of examinations.
