VARANASI, Dec. 17 -- Institutes within BHU should benchmark themselves against the best institutions in their respective fields, stated vice-chancellor prof Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi at the celebration of the 10th Institute Day of the Institute of Management Studies (IM-BHU) on Tuesday. He further added that IM-BHU should aspire to match the top IIMs of the country. Expressing his vision, he said, "My wish and desire is that within 3-4 years time, our institute of management should aim to be in the top 10 of NIRF ranks." He added that such resolve lends true meaning to celebrations, and expressed confidence in the institute's capabilities. Congratulating the institute on its achievements over the years, the vice-chancellor emphasised the need for continuous improvement, collective consultation, setting clear reference points, and working collaboratively towards the holistic development of the institute. He concluded by motivating students and faculty to contribute to institutional growth actively and assured full support from BHU. On this occasion, the vice-chancellor inaugurated the renovated seminar hall - Prabandh Bhawan - the venue for the celebrations. In his address, Prof. S. K. Dubey, Dean & Head, Faculty of Management Studies, highlighted the institute's milestones and expressed confidence that IM-BHU will continue to nurture ethical managers and visionary leaders for India and the world.
