VARANASI, Nov. 3 -- A team of scientists and professors from Hindu University (BHU) organised an engaging outreach programme for students at the Indian Air Force School in Bamrauli on Saturday. The event, being organised under the banner of the Society of Evolution, included discussions on various topics related to science, health, and lifestyle, inspiring curiosity and scientific thinking among the students. The event began with Professor Gyaneshwer Chaubey's presentation on the DNA investigation of the Ajnala martyrs. Debshrutti Das then discussed the link between tuberculosis (TB) and DNA, noting the high incidence of TB among Madhya Pradesh's Sahariya tribe due to genetic and environmental factors, and stressed the importance of awareness in tackling the issue.
