BHU, Sweden's Karlstad Univ renew MoU promoting collaboration
VARANASI, Oct. 8 -- Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and Karlstad University, Sweden, have renewed their memorandum of understanding (MoU) in a ceremony held at the BHU vice-chancellor office on Tuesday. The renewal reinforces the longstanding partnership between the two institutions and their shared dedication to promoting academic collaboration, research, and intercultural exchange.
BHU VC prof Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi, coordinator (International Collaborations) prof Rajesh Singh, coordinator Malaviya Centre for Peace Research prof Manoj Kumar Mishra and assistant professor, MCPR, Faculty of Social Sciences, BHU Dr Ajay Kumar Yadav were present at the ceremony.From Karlstad University, the delegation included head of the India studies programme prof Pawel Odyniec, director at the faculty of humanities and social sciences prof Johanna Elfgren and professor at faculty of humanities and social sciences Karoliina Alegod. Speaking on the occasion, BHU VC prof Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi expressed his satisfaction over the strengthening of this international partnership.
Prof Pawel Odyniec announced that, under the renewed MoU, Karlstad University will offer courses-either in person at Karlstad, Sweden, or online-exclusively for BHU students and researchers, with the course fees being completely waived, thereby promoting equitable access to all.htc...
