BBAU to launch 30 courses, boost skill training in Amethi centre
LUCKNOW, June 19 -- Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, has approved 30 new courses during its academic council meeting held on Wednesday. Of these, 26 will begin in the 2025-26 academic session, while the remaining four will start a year later, an official said.
The programs will be offered across diploma, certificate, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels at both the Lucknow main campus and the Amethi centre.
BBAU registrar Ashwini Kumar Singh said the Amethi Centre will be developed as a skill development hub, offering vocational and industry-aligned courses aimed at enhancing youth employability and supporting local job creation.
The council also cleared the academic ordinance, which outlines regulations for admissions and course structures for UG, PG, DSc, and DLitt programs.
BBAU has also extended the last date for registration to its postgraduate programs till June 25, 2025, without a late fee.
A late fee of Rs 1,000 will apply for registrations from June 26 to June 30. The application fee is Rs 500 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and Rs 300 for SC, ST, and PwD applicants....
