Bahraich's wildlife conflict victims get financial help
BAHRAICH, Sept. 30 -- In compliance with chief minister Yogi Adityanath's directive, financial assistance of Rs.50,000 each was distributed to 13 villagers injured in human-wildlife conflict at an event held in Manjhara Taukli under Bahraich's Kaiserganj tehsil on Monday.
The programme was organised at an upper primary school where former UP minister Mukut Bihari Verma and sub-divisional magistrate Akhilesh Kumar Singh handed over the cheques.
Bahraich district magistrate Akshay Tripathi had issued the cheques on Sunday for those discharged after treatment, while three others still undergoing treatment will receive the assistance later.
