AU postgraduate admission test from June 10
PRAYAGRAJ, May 17 -- For admissions to masters' courses in Allahabad University (AU) for academic session 2025-26, the Post Graduate Admission Examination (PGAT)-2025 has been proposed to be held from June 10.
A decision in this regard was taken in a meeting held under the chairmanship of the Director of Admission Cell of the central university on Friday.
In the meeting, the last date of submitting online applications has been extended from May 16 to May 20. Till Friday evening, 52,274 registrations had already taken place for admission in various PG programmes, including MA, MSc, MCom, BEd, MEd and MBA besides and professional courses like LLB, LLM and those offered by Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) of AU. Out of the total registered aspirants, 26,444 have completed the online form formalities, said director of admission cell Prof JK Pati.
He said that two days' time has been given for aspirants to undertake corrections in the submitted application forms: May 22 and 23.
As per the schedule finalised in the meeting, PGAT-2025 will be conducted on June 10, 11, 12 and 13. The entrance examination will be conducted in both online and offline modes in Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh besides New Delhi, while in Bhopal, Kolkata, Patna and Thiruvananthapuram, the entrance examination will be conducted only in online mode. htc...
