PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 5 -- The results of the written examination for the recruitment of assistant professors in 331 government-aided private degree colleges across Uttar Pradesh were announced on Thursday, around four-and-a-half months after the exam was held. The exam, covering 33 subjects, was conducted on April 16 and 17. Devendra Pratap Singh, controller of examinations, Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), said the roll numbers and category-wise cutoff of provisionally qualified candidates for the interview stage have been published on the Commission's official website: www.upsssc.up.gov.in. Interviews will be conducted in two phases: from September 25 to October 8, and then from October 28 to November 4. Subject-wise and date-wise interview schedules, along with important instructions, will be separately posted on the Commission's website.
