LUCKNOW, Nov. 10 -- Lucknow's air quality showed no signs of improvement on Sunday, with the city once again recording an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 256 at 5 pm (identical to Saturday's level), keeping it in the 'poor' category for the second consecutive day. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) live bulletin, four of the six active stations in the city registered 'poor' air quality, while the remaining two stayed in the 'moderate' range. Talkatora industrial area reported the worst air quality on Sunday with an AQI of 265, followed closely by Lalbagh (241). The rest of the stations -- Gomti Nagar, Kukrail, Aliganj (KV), and BBAU area -- recorded AQI values between 140 and 190, placing them in the 'moderate' zone. Officials said the persistent pollution is a result of fluctuating temperatures, low wind speeds, and dense vehicular movement. The combination of weather and emissions is expected to worsen further as the winter intensifies.HTC...
