LUCKNOW, Jan. 1 -- Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) on Wednesday released a detailed notification for direct recruitment to 32,679 posts of constables and jail warders in the state police and prison departments, said director SB Shiradkar. According to an official note , the recruitment covers the posts of constable civil police (male and female), Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC)/Armed Police constable (male), special security force constable (male), female constable for women battalions, mounted police constable (male) and jail warder (male and female). The advertisement has been uploaded on the board's official website https://uppbpb.gov.in, providing information on eligibility criteria, application process, examination scheme, syllabus, physical tests, reservation rules and age limits. Applications will be accepted from December 31, 2025 to January 30, 2026. As per the UPPRPB notification, the last date for payment of the application fee is January 30, while fee adjustment can be done up to February 2, 2026.
