aP panel briefed on urban mgmt
Lucknow, June 12 -- A high-level team from Andhra Pradesh, led by its minister for municipal administration and urban development, P Narayana, met with Uttar Pradesh urban development minister AK Sharma.
During their interaction, the Andhra delegation was briefed on various innovations in urban management being implemented across the state. AK Sharma specifically highlighted the transformative impact of the Swachh Bharat Mission in Lucknow.
Andhra minister Narayana stated, "We came to study Lucknow's urban solutions. What we've seen in solid waste, liquid waste, and legacy waste management is highly commendable. We are in the process of building Amaravati as a modern, greenfield capital, and models like Lucknow's will be instrumental in shaping our approach."
The delegation included top officials from departments such as Swachh Andhra Corporation, the State Mission directorate of Swachh Bharat and municipal administration....
