LUCKNOW, Feb. 17 -- Days after serious allegations of sexual exploitation, blackmail and coercion by a woman in a cafe here following which police arrested one accused on Friday, another 20-year-old woman from Delhi's Dariyaganj on Monday accused a gang of luring her to Lucknow on the pretext of an online job, allegedly raping her, recording obscene videos for blackmail, and forcing her into flesh trade at multiple spa centres across the city and nearby districts. Gomti Nagar police station SHO Brajesh Chandra Tiwari confirmed that an FIR had been registered based on the complaint, and investigation was underway. Multiple victims have reportedly come forward in recent days, with police probing a larger network. This case is linked to broader allegations involving a cafe in Gomti Nagar operating as a front for a sex racket, involving blackmail, forced prostitution, and in some related complaints, elements of religious conversion pressure. According to the victim's complaint to Gomti Nagar Police, she first came in contact with Kamru Jamal alias Javed, a resident of Kishanganj, Bihar, in 2021 while hunting for a job. He allegedly promised her employment and called her to Lucknow. The complainant alleged that the accused took her to a cafe in Gomti Nagar, where she was allegedly given intoxicants, raped in an inebriated state, and obscene videos were recorded without her consent.
