Agra, Oct. 15 -- Justice Abdul Shahid, Judge, Allahabad High Court, will be the chief guest at the Sir Syed Day celebrations to commemorate the 208th birth anniversary of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) founder, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, scheduled to be held on October 17, stated the public relations office of AMU. Chief guest will arrive at Gulistan-e-Syed, the venue of programme in Victorian era horse-drawn chariot. AMU vice chancellor Prof Naima Khatoon will accompany the chief guest to the venue, stated the press statement by PRO. Scientist Dr SP Somanath, former chairman, ISRO, will be guest of honour, while Milee Ashwarya, senior vice president, Penguin Random House, will attend the event as the special guest.
