PRAYAGRAJ, May 12 -- The three-day Amarnath Bhargava Memorial State-Level Prize Money Tennis Tournament, organised by the tennis development welfare society in association with the Allahabad gymkhana tennis academy, kicked off at Chandra Shekhar Azad Park on Sunday. The tournament has drawn participation from over 100 players representing cities like Varanasi, Lucknow and Prayagraj. The event was formally inaugurated by Rakesh Bagga, trustee of Krishna Virendra Trust, who encouraged the young sportspersons and lauded the organisers' efforts. Tournament director Saif Iqbal and referee Asad Iqbal welcomed the chief guest, players, and their guardians. Saif Iqbal said the tournament aims to promote grassroots tennis and provide a competitive platform for budding talent across the state.
